Flat Stand
$26.45
25% offThe most compact option, and the lowest price in the lineup.
The Whalebone Flat stand stacks three, four or five level shelves in a tight vertical column. Keyboards lie flat, so the stand doubles as storage for boards you are not using and a display for the ones you are.
Sizes and starting prices
Measurements are for the 4" shelf support width. The 8" and 12" versions are 8.0 in (203 mm) and 12.0 in (305 mm) wide with the same depth and height.
| Configuration | Width × depth × height | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| 3 tiers, 3 keyboards | 4.0 × 7.5 × 2.8 in (102 × 192 × 72 mm) | from $20 |
| 4 tiers, 4 keyboards | 4.0 × 9.5 × 2.8 in (102 × 241 × 70 mm) | from $25 |
| 5 tiers, 5 keyboards | 4.0 × 11.6 × 2.8 in (102 × 295 × 71 mm) | from $26 |
Specs
- Holds 3, 4 or 5 mechanical keyboards
- Fits 60%, 65%, 75%, TKL and full-size layouts on every width; the shelf support width (4", 8" (+$5), 12" (+$10)) sets how much of the case is supported, not which keyboards fit
- Each shelf holds up to 10 lb (4.5 kg), enough for aluminum and steel boards
- Optional cork padding on every shelf so cases and feet stay scuff-free and the board does not slide
- Optional USB-A and USB-C cable cut-outs (+$3)
- Nine colors: six solid, three metallic (+$10)
Why it works
- Lowest profile — under 3 in (72 mm) tall at every tier count; the shortest stand we make.
- Storage-friendly — flat shelves hold boards, cases or keycap trays.
- One solid print — no assembly, no screws, no wobble.
Details
- 3D printed to order in plant-based PLA with a smooth matte finish
- Made and shipped by Things Things Things LLC in Brooklyn, New York, USA
- Configure tiers, width, color, cork and cable cut-outs live in the 3D builder at whalebone.shop
- 30-day returns on non-custom items; lifetime replacement for defects
- Keyboards in photos are for reference only

Recent reviews from other Whalebone stands.
“Have been waiting over a month for Fedex to actually recieve the package I paid for after reaching on IG and via Email to check in they send me a "review your product" email. It feels really bad.”
“Ordered Sep 15th, product was expected the 21st. Sep 19th a FedEx label was made. FedEx did not recieve the package and it still shows waiting as of Oct 25th 2026. I have reached out on Instagram, via Email and now this is my final hope. I actually was excited about this product and paid for two of these stands over a month ago now and I'm just sitting here wondering if I got lost in the wayside after they did a change to their website between when I ordered and today. My order is Order #1219 and I would love to get these stands and leave a review that was positive before I go down the chargeback route.”
