“Cheap plastic, raw finish, looks 3d-printed. Do not recommend.”

Classic Stand
$46.29
25% offThe original upright rack.
The Whalebone Classic keeps a whole rotation of mechanical keyboards visible in a single vertical column. Angled shelves tilt each board toward you so keycaps and cases read from across the room, while the footprint stays close to a single keyboard.
Sizes and starting prices
Measurements are for the 4" shelf support width. The 8" and 12" versions are 8.0 in (203 mm) and 12.0 in (305 mm) wide with the same depth and height.
| Configuration | Width × depth × height | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| 3 tiers, 3 keyboards | 4.0 × 6.5 × 6.6 in (102 × 165 × 167 mm) | from $35 |
| 4 tiers, 4 keyboards | 4.0 × 6.5 × 9.2 in (102 × 165 × 234 mm) | from $40 |
| 5 tiers, 5 keyboards | 4.0 × 6.5 × 11.1 in (102 × 165 × 281 mm) | from $48 |
Specs
- Holds 3, 4 or 5 mechanical keyboards
- Fits 60%, 65%, 75%, TKL and full-size layouts on every width; the shelf support width (4", 8" (+$5), 12" (+$10)) sets how much of the case is supported, not which keyboards fit
- Each shelf holds up to 10 lb (4.5 kg), enough for aluminum and steel boards
- Optional cork padding on every shelf so cases and feet stay scuff-free and the board does not slide
- Optional USB-A and USB-C cable cut-outs (+$3)
- Nine colors: six solid, three metallic (+$10)
Why it works
- Vertical, not sprawling — three, four or five boards in roughly the desk space of one.
- Angled shelves — every keyboard faces you, not the ceiling.
- One solid print — no assembly, no screws, no wobble.
Details
- 3D printed to order in plant-based PLA with a smooth matte finish
- Made and shipped by Things Things Things LLC in Brooklyn, New York, USA
- Configure tiers, width, color, cork and cable cut-outs live in the 3D builder at whalebone.shop
- 30-day returns on non-custom items; lifetime replacement for defects
- Keyboards in photos are for reference only

“This is my second Whalebone stand. I ordered the Classic Tier in the 12-inch width, and it fits my full-size mechanical keyboards perfectly. The stand feels sturdy and doesn’t wobble when I place a keyboard on it or take one off. I highly recommend it!”
“Does a great job of holding my Keebs! Well made and shipping was fast?”
